We are currently seeking a business law attorney.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze, negotiate, and draft various legal documents related to commercial, corporate, and transactional law (contracts, resolutions, leases, etc.);
- Analyze merger, acquisition, sale, reorganization, and financing files and participate in the development of strategies;
- Draft legal and corporate opinions;
- Delegate appropriate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and review their work.

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing, writing and/or correcting and formatting letters, legal proceedings, emails, etc.;
- Opening files, checking documents provided by various people, closing and filing files;
- Managing disbursements and charging them to the files;
- Scheduling appointments with clients and helping the lawyers manage their schedules;
- Billing;
- Carrying out other related tasks.

- Preparing documentation related to the acquisition, incorporation, and organization of federal and provincial corporations;
- Preparing closing binders;
- Participating in corporate reorganizations;
